REGENERATING SHAKESPEARE

This video is about 400^th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death.

Many companies do Shakespeare’s projects around the world. The Barbican Theatre in London is preparing the Royal Shakespeare Company. This theatre representation tries to attract some new audience.

This company converts the Shakespeare literature to the new technologies (phones, tablets…). Moreover, music companies like “The Hip-Hop Shakespeare Company” convert that literature in hip-hop songs for everybody, it means, they try to connect the literature with the modern society, especially to young people through the music or the technology.

I think that this company does a good job because during the last decades, the people have been leaving the literature in the past and today they need to appreciate it.

Dear Anna,

Thanks you for your letter, which I got yesterday.

I liked to hear from you. The news about your interview is very interesting, but you didn’t say if you got the job. I hope so.

I was sorry hear that you have been burgled again. How many times has this happened you? Five hundred pounds is a lot of money.

Does the police know who did it?

You wanted me to tell you about what I’m doing in Banyoles and how my life is here. Well, I enjoy it. The course is good, but harder than I thought. First, I had no friends, but soon I met the people who are in the same department like me. Nowadays, I spend all my time trying to buy the books which I need for my course, although it is difficult to find them. I’m sure I will find them. When I buy the books, I will be very busy!

Finally, a friend of mine has to write a letter in French, and I said I would help him. Write or phone me soon. If you come to Scotland you must visit me, but remember to take warn clothes.

OPINION ESSAY: MOVIE AND TELEVISION INFLUENCE PEOPLE...

Nowadays, people watch more movies and television series because it is easy to watch TV. Some studies show that people are influenced of action or scenes and I believe that this is true.

Firstly, if children watch violent movies everyday where people are hit by gangsters or movies where people who drink and consume drugs too, in the near future, these children might be violent or have a bad behaviour.

Secondly, television can influence people's behaviour because now, in reality shows there are people with bad behaviour; moreover, there are also cartoons like "The Simpsons" where their characters do bad actions.

Thirdly, television and movies can influence people's style because each person would like to be their favourite celebrity our want to buy something for example, years ago in the cinema, coca sol's sponsor influenced people's behaviours because at the end of the film each person wanted to a coca.

In short, television and movies can influence people's behaviour, sometimes in bad ways. So, I think that it is true.

EVERY KID NEEDS A CHAMPION

The video starts with a girl called Rita Pierson, a great teacher. The topic of this video is the education.

Firstly, Rita Pierson said that the only solution to give a good education is to maintain a connection between student and teacher, centred that children learn better if they have good references like a teacher, father... that can admire, focusing on teachers as part of the student. It insists that the best goal for teachers is show that the students are capable of doing what is proposed and besides they were, are and will be someone in life; also, they must to create a good learning environment in the classroom.

In short, I think Rita has the reason in what she said because creating a human environment between teacher and student would be the best way of learning and that would inspire students to pursue their desire to learn.
